1 FOUR-SEATER CHAIRLIFT departs from the lake and reaches Monte la Nuda mountain refuge ,  fitted with hooks for transportation of MTB’s to the top. Marked trails with mountain bike rental and free loan of GPS to find your way along the trails.

"REDUCE" by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti with Ambrogio Sparagna
A bare stage: bright lights, four chairs. The actor’s voice reads, recites, chants and sings; then two voices, first singing in unison then with a counter melody; contrasting the tale of genetic regression, transhumance in time and space. Two sounds: the accordion, small singing bellows, spawned by the mechanisation of the word, and the honey-soft tones of the violin yet as biting as liqueur: music that rejoins the old links between Europe and the routes in Central Asia.
June 24th, CERRETO ALPI
Festival of Saint John: “A Celebration of Transhumance”.
“Moving the flocks, the return of the shepherds, back in the mountains after spending winter in the Maremma, and their sad, hard life,  when the good weather finally set in, their return home was cause for celebration, an opportunity for visitors to sample some marvellous produce. Stands selling local products from the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park. Demonstration of how ricotta and cheese are made in the village courtyards.  The day’s events will be accompanied by local folk music.

In collaboration with Fare Appennino. The event includes stands hosted by the villages in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park, local specialities and handicrafts, entertainment for adults and children. There will be guided tours throughout the day to discover the old village centre  and the watermill on the banks of the river Secchia.

"Aspettando ferragosto". It has become a tradition for the whole village of Cecciola to celebrate the August holidays. Food stalls are set up in all the yards and squares in the village for the occasion, offering local specialities and traditional cakes made by the villagers of Cecciola. The festival has the usual, inevitable musical backdrop provided by a popular band.

 Madonna della Guardia Pilgrimage – FROM CERRETO TO COLLE Argegna -  The traditional pilgrimage to the Madonna della Guardia sanctuary (RE-LU)
On horseback, headed by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti departing on the 25th.
On foot departing on the 25th from Cerreto Alpi in collaboration with Daniele Canossini and the Appennino Sconosciuto association.
Every year, people from Cerreto Alpi traditionally spent the last Sunday in August on a pilgrimage to the Madonna dell’Argegna sanctuary near Giuncugnano, in the Garfagnana area. The traditional pilgrimage was undertaken every year until the Seventies when it was unfortunately abandoned. However, it has recently been reinstated
