Also known as MTB’s, a mountain bike is a means to pedal over any type of terrain, even the roughest ground, and get to the top of the steepest hills and down again.

The mountain area in Reggio Emilia province is now under the protection and custody of the new Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park and is an excellent venue for enthusiasts of this exciting sport, with itineraries passing through scenery and past natural gems that you will miss if you stick to the tarmac.

 

The chairlifts at Cerreto laghi and Febbio  have also started running in summer since 2007 and are equipped with hooks for you to take your MTB to the top  so, you can now hook up your bike and get off at Febbio  2064 metres above sea level, ready for a breathtaking ride back down to the bottom!
